Day 3: Hassan to Madikeri

A day filled with scenic routes but a lot of climbs and pretty tiring too in the end. It turned out to be a long day for me. The best part was early on when we had the Gorur dam stretch opened up for us to cycle on — around 3–4 […]

Taming the bull – on cycle and on foot!

Our destination: Nandi Hills, located about 60 km north of Bangalore and about 4800 ft above sea level. On top was Tipu Sultan’s summer retreat and the remains of Tipu’s fort still remain. I had the most wonderful birthday, thanks to all of you who called and wished me including Rinku, Rukshana, Jaya, Shankar, Usha, Mona, Rup, Arpita, Vivek C, Arun […]

Morning at Majestic

A couple of weekends ago, one early and not so bright morning, Lavannya, Sabir, Vasu, Anu and I packed our photography equipment and went to the Majestic bus station, City Market and Tipu Sultan’s Palace.

Birthday, anniversary and a wedding!

Last week raced past me and I partook in so many festivities that I felt life was one big party that was refusing to end! :)

‘Where the hell is Honnemardu’ is one reaction you might get when you mention the place. Many folks actually have no idea where it is. By the end of this, you’ll soon find out.
